NEMO Elsewhere
Chesapeake NEMO draws its name (Network for Education of Municipal Officials) from a program now operating in more than 30 states and focusing on educating local land use decision makers about the links between land use and natural resource protection.
Each state or regional program is patterned after the original NEMO Program developed at the University of Connecticut, but has been adapted to reflect unique regional character, priorities, geography and issues.
