Linking Land, Water & Growth
This workshop focuses on the relationship of land use and growth to a community's natural resources and quality of life, with a special emphasis on clean water. The workshop explores how communities change over time, and how that can affect the streams, water supply and natural areas that support local citizens, as well as the special character of a community.
This workshop is an ideal introduction to the connection between land use, growth and natural resources in a community. It can be scheduled as a stand-alone workshop of 60 to 90 minutes (including time for discussion), or it can be part of a longer combined program with "Planning the Direction of Your Community." All workshops are free of charge.
